Togolese International James Olufade has agreed a new Short Term deal to keep him at Union Sportive of Douala till the end of the Current season.
The 24 year old Left Back told kick442.com his motivation to stay at the club is was provoked by contract talks which produced an agreement over the weekend.
Olufade joined Union Douala in 2017 from cross town Rivals New Stars of Douala and in his time at the club,he became a full Togolese International in July 2018 when he won his first Cap for the National Team in an AFCON qualifiers game against Benin.
“I think the need for consistency and staying in an environment i already know motivated me more, I want to play in the National team for long and Union Sportive of Douala gives me the environment to achieve that,I will be here till at least the end of the season”
The Current abreach League in Cameroon runs till the end of May this year and Olufade could make his first appearance for USD this Wednesday in Limbe when his club face PWD of Bamenda that attempted to sign him in the close season.
