Al-Ahly of Egypt have warned potential suitors about approaching their Tunisian left back Ali Maâloul.
The Egyptian giants raised the slogan “forbidden approaching” about the future of the 30-year-old defender.
Tunisian media reports had indicated earlier that the Tunisian international had received offers from some clubs, led by Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia and Al Ain of the the United Arab Emirates.
However, according to Amir Tawfiq, the manager of contracts for Al-Ahly in Egypt, in exclusive statements to “kick442.com his club did not receive any offers and what is reported in the media is incorrect.”
Al-Ahly’s contracting Director stressed in his outing to this portal that compromising Ali Maâloul is impossible. He is one of the main pillars of our team and can in no way be allow to leave now.
Amir added: “He is a great player with high technical capabilities, as well as his leadership role with the team and Swiss coach René Weiler wants hin to stick with the team,” Amir Tawfiq told kick442.com.
Maâloul expressed earlier his satisfaction with continuing with Al-Ahly until the end of his career inside in the colours of the Cairo giant.
The Tunisian international player has a current contract with current Egyptian league leaders until June 2022.
