Cameroon Elite One side Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda have made the first steps in their efforts to sign prolific teenage forward Chinazam Precious Nwakeke who was the main source of goals last season at Southwest regional league side Isles of Hope Sports Academy.
The 16-year old ANAFOOT student who spent last season improving his knowhow at ISOHSA is a major target for YOSA who believe he can add value to their frontline.
Precious scored seven goals in the league last season, and recently scored six to scoop the golden boot in the second edition of the ANAFOOT annual tournament that held in Mbankomo.
The deal is in advanced stage as the player’s parents have endorsed a move to the Northwest while waiting for ANAFOOT and ISOHSA to reach an agreement with YOSA officials.
A move YOSA will cap a near perfect summer for the forward who recently passed the advanced level.
He could become the fourth ISOHSA player to move to Elite One this window; following the steps of duo Randy Ngangeh and Amih Renzo who moved to Stade Renard last month plus Agbor Bessem Bogard who is now part of PWD of Bamenda.
Precious, a great potential for Cameroon’s frontline in the future could be signed and unveiled by YOSA before the end of the of this month.
