Franck Yannick Kessie and Ismaël Bennacer have are expected in Milan for quarantining this Monday.
Italian Serie A side AC Milan have set Monday 20th April 2020 as the deadline for the return of all members of their playing staff who left Milan over a month ago due to the outbreak of CoronaVirus pandemic which forced a national lockdown.
According to Sky Italia, the Rossoneri have instructed 12 of their players currently out of Italy to return to Milan this Monday and begin a 14 days routine quarantine period which will end in the first week of the month of May. The club envisage resumption of training in early May.
The Kick442.com team has made unsuccessful efforts to get the current location of the players but African duo.Most African players plying their trade in Europe are currently in their country’s with flights grounded.
Algerian Ismaël Bennacer and Ivorian Franck Kessie who are amongst the 12 players who will surely have a difficult task to return to their club in time for the quarantining process as must airlines in Europe have stopped their Airbuses from plying the Italy road.
Italy is currently observing an over a month lockdown situation and is the must hit European country. The club’s decision to recall players maybe an indication of the country’s plans to lift the lockdown measures in the days ahead.
