There has been news in the media in the past weeks that purporting he, Isaac Dogboe consults ‘juju’ before each of his fights. The boxer has refuted the claim and described it as false and ridiculous.

According to the WBO junior -featherweight title holder, he believes in God and pray to him before he stages any of his bout.

“I want to make this very very clear. I Isaac Dogboe, I have no association with any fetish priest. I have never consulted any fetish priest to help me win any fight. I have always accredited my victories to only God alone. So it doesn’t make sense that I will go to a fetish priest and consult him to help me win a fight.
God has been with me from the very first beginning through all my victories and my defeats. I believed in prayer and I pray to God for victory. In addition, I ask the holy servants of God to pray on my behalf in a lead up to my fights. These rumours as ridiculous as they are have caused a lot of embarrassment to my family, myself, friends and all those that I have associated with.
God the father, the son and the holy spirit is my only wsy.” Isaac Dogboe disclosed to TV 3 sports news crew.

The 25-year old Ghanaian-British professional boxer Isaac Zion Royal Storm Dogboe has a boxing record of 22 fights 20 wins with 14 knockouts and 2 defeats.
