Bamboutos and Intermediate Lion striker, Junior Kemajou was on target for the Lions Yesterday, scoring a goal to rescue his side from leaving with another draw.
Kemajou netted the second goal for the Lions in a tightly contested encounter that was already on a 1-1 draw before his goal came in the second half just one minute after the equalizer.
Colombe’s Striker, Betrand Junior Mani started the game like he did the last and it was him who opened scores of the game after twenty minutes gone in to the first half.
The 1-0 lead over Chad was held until the first 45 minutes Elapsed.
The Chadian side equalized early into the second half through Bambot Djibrine and just one minute after the equalizer, Junior Kemajou Cancelled the 1-1 scoreline to make it 2-1 in favour of the Lions.
Yves Alain Moukoko captained the first half of the game. While Coton’s Malone Che took charge of the second segment.
Newly appointment Coach Saidou Alioum, has started off on good footing, recording his first win after picking up a draw in his first preparatory match last week against 2022 season Cameroon Cup Finalist, Bamboutos FC of Mbouda.
This was a second test match for the home based selection against the Chadian National Team, to brace up for the 2023 African Nations Championship qualiers later this month and earlier next month.
Coach Saidou Alioum and his boys will travel to Equitorial Guinea today ahead of their 2023 Chan Qualifier clash on Sunday, August 28th.
The return leg comes up between the 2-4 of September next month.
