Black Queens of Ghana on Thursday defeated Atlas Queens of Morocco 3-1 in an international friendly match as both sides observe the FIFA women’s football window, www.kick442.com reports.
Faustina Kyeremeh’s and Linda Eshun’s first-half goals followed by substitute Georgia Aoyem’s strike overturn Chebbak Chiclane’s early opener.
The two teams will meet again on Monday 30 November 2020.
The Black Queens have played at three FIFA Women’s World Cups in 1999, 2003, and 2007. They have made ten appearances at the African Women’s Championship (now, African Women Cup of Nations, AWCON) but yet to win the trophy.
