Ghana women national team, Black Queens defeated Morocco 2-0 in the second leg of their friendly match on Monday to round up the FIFA windows for women’s football, www.kick442.com reports.
Sandra Owusu-Ansah’s brace lifts Black Queens to their second win of the doubleheader friendly, following their 3-1 win in the opening tie.
Sandra Owusu-Ansah scored a sensational volley against Paraguay to send Ghana to the knockouts of the 2016 U-17 Women’s World Cup and went on to captain Ghana U20 in the U20 Women’s World Cup in 2018 before graduating to play for the Black Queens.
The Black Queens have played at ten African Women Championship (now African Women Cup of Nations, AWCON) with three Runners Up finishes in
1998, 2002, and 2006. They have also had three FIFA Women’s World Cup appearances.
