The Selecao of Brazil forced the super Eagles of Nigeria to a 1-1 draw in a highly anticipated friendly match played at Singapore National Stadium on Sunday, October 13, 2019.

In the 35th minute of the game, Victor Osimhen had a great play after beating his marker from the right, crossed for Moses Simon who finds, unmarked Jo Aribo as he dings his way through and scored his second goal in just his second start for Nigeria. At half time, it finished Brazil 0-1 Nigeria.

In the second half, Real Madrid Casemiro Equalised for Brazil in the 47th minute to level scores at 1-1.
The match saw the return of Ramon Azeez to Super Eagles as he came in the second half. An injury to eagles goal keeper, Francis Uzoho gave Fortuna Dusseldorf goalie, Maduka Okoye the opportunity to have his own debut for Nigeria. Sparta Prague forward, Peter Oladeji Olayinka also made his debut for Nigeria alongside Club Brugge’s Emmanuel Dennis.

This will be the first time that Nigeria will be going undefeated against the Selecao after losing their first match 0-3 back in 2003 at the Abuja Stadium in another international friendly match.
