Super Eagles and Slavia Prague player, Peter Oladeji Olayinka said that he want to work hard so as to help his country qualify for 2021 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) and 2022 FIFA World Cup.
“This is my goal for 2020. I want to work hard so that I can play more games for Super Eagles and help the team qualify for 2021 AFCON and 2022 World Cup.”

Nigeria top their 2021 AFCON Qualifying group with two (2) wins from two (2) games thus far after victory over Benin Republic and Lesotho. The team will know their opponents for 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers on January 21, 2020. Olayinka vouch for the presence of quality players in Super Eagles squad hoping to wait for his time to play for Nigeria.
“We have got a lot of quality players in the team so I have to wait for my time. I am optimistic that very soon I will get more playing times with Super Eagles.”

Peter Oladeji Olayinka scored for Slavia Prague against Inter Milan in the group stage of this season UEFA Champions League but his club couldn’t make it out of the group. He made his debut for Nigeria during last October friendly match against Brazil.

In his current club, Slavia Prague, he has played 2 seasons, during this time he played 64 matches and scored 12 goals.
