The media officer of the intermediate Lions of Cameroon have published a release in which he announced that the Cotonsport of Garoua attacking midfielder Thierry Tchuente will miss Cameroon’s third training camp in Douala and he has been replaced by Mfegue Georges of Avion Academy.

Thierry Tchuente scored twice against Union Sportive of Douala to become the first player to score a brace on two occasions in the 2019 /2020 season

The release say Thierry Tchuente has been left out for professional reasons.

Thierry has been one of the outstanding players on the books of Cotonsport of Garoua this season. The midfielder can boast of 7 goals from the midfield position, a performance which earned him a place in the second training camp.

Mfegue Georges joins the 30-man squad surely to the satisfaction of the local media.

The Avion Academy 7 goals forward was initially left out of the squad of players picked by coach Clement Arroga for the current camp but later drafted into a waiting list.

The squad of players for the third camp are currently Douala where they will have their first training session at the Bepanda Omnisport this Tuesday morning at 8AM local time.

6:30AM Breakfast
7:30AM Departure from Hotel to Stadium (Annex Bepanda)
8AM Arrival and Start of Training (First 15mins open to the Press)
10AM End of Training and Interviews (on request)
10:20AM: Departure to Hotel
1PM: Lunch
2PM: Rest
4PM: Departure to Stadium (Annex Bepanda)
4:30PM: Start of Training (First 15mins open to the Media)
6PM: End of Training and Departure to Hotel
6-10PM:Hotel Activities


Cameroon enter the Competition in April with hopes to better their performance in the last edition.
