The Intermediate Lions of Cameroon have arrived the Congolese city of Brazzaville where they will play two friendly games against Congo Brazzaville and Democratic Republic of Congo in the days ahead.

The boys of Yves Clement Arroga left Cameroon on Friday via an Ethiopia airline bus which touched down at the Maya Maya Airport in Brazzaville at 4:15PM local time.

The players were received by hundreds of Cameroonians who according to eyewitnesses had waited for their national team for over an hour.

The team will have it’s first view of the Brazzaville main Stadium on Saturday 15th February 2020. The Lions are expected to have a recognizance session at the venue ahead of their first game in the Pre-CHAN 2020 triangular tournament.

Cameroon will face DR Congo and Congo Brazzaville in two crucial friendly games on February 16th and 20th before returning home to face Rwanda in another friendly.

The three participants in the Congo Competition have qualified for the 6th edition of the CHAN to take place in Cameroon and will use this tournament as a warm up event ahead of the 16 nations African Football jamboree in Cameroon in April.
