All is almost set for the 2019 edition of the Inter-pools which opens this Saturday August 24th 2019 in Bertoua, chief town of the East region. This revelation was made by Mr. Charles Baninga, President of the East regional league of football who also doubles as president of the local organising committee.
He said “we have contacted the administrative authorities of the region to ensure that everything moves on smoothly”.

“The pitch is already ready and we are now concentrating on the stands which needs some renovation and that is already in progress.

“The competition will bring together champions of all 10 regional leagues to fight for the three available tickets for League two championship next football season” .
When asked about what he done to see an elite two team in the East region, Mr Charles Baninga attested that, “the East regional league has done it’s best by adding more impetus to the coaching staff and financial motivation will be given to the players in the days ahead” .

The delegations from the regions are expected in Bertoua before Saturday. At press time, Foncha Street FC of the Northwest region and AS Dibamba from the Littoral had already arrived Bertoua while others are expected this Thursday evening and Friday morning.
