Iniabasi Umotong scored in her third consecutive games for Swedish Damallsvenskan side, Växjö in their 1-0 win over Pitea on Sunday, www.kick442.com reports.
The former Brighton and Hove Albion forward scored the all-important goal for Växjö in the 12th minute at the Visma Arena as she saw 76 minutes of action.
Ini Umotong in the process has scored in the last three games for Växjö after scoring a goal each against Djurgården and Kalmar.
Super Falcons defender, Faith Ikidi-Michael played for the duration of the game for Pitea as she could not rescue her side from conceding a goal courtesy Ini Umotong.
Växjö replaced Pitea in the 10th position on the Swedish Damallsvenskan table with 18 points from 18 games. They will travel to play Uppsala in their next game on October 17.
