Nigerian player, Ini Umotong scored her first two goals for Lewes as they were defeated 2-3 by London City Lionesses on Sunday.
Ini scored the opening goal of the game in the 11th minute at the Dripping Pan (Lewes East, Sussex).
She scored her side’s second goal in the 82nd minute from the penalty spot but her goals could not save Lewes from another defeat in the English Women’s Championship.
Atlanta Primus equalised for London City Lionesses in the 23rd minute after Umotong had given her Club an 11th-minute lead.
Kallie Balfour gave London City Lionesses the lead for the first time in the game in the 27th minute before Ini Umotong equalised to make it 2-2.
Mason scored the winning goal for London City Lionesses in the 92nd minute to win the game for the visitors.
Umotong played for the duration of the game as her team occupied the sixth position on the 11 teams English Women’s Championship table with 18 points from 14 games.
They will play Charlton Athletic in their next game on March 7, 2021.
