Indomitable Lions’ rock solid defender Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui is having the season of his life in the Belgian top flight.

The 28 year old native of Bafang was on target this Saturday September 28, 2019, for his third league goal of the season for Gent in their 2-0 home win over Kortrijk.

He opened the scoring at the 58th minute of the game before Jonathan David put the game out of the reach of Kortrijk at the 85th minute with their second goal.

Ngadeu joint Gent this summer from Slavia Prague in the Czech Republic on a club record transfer fee.

At the end of the 2018/2019 season, he was voted the best defender in the Czech Republic’s top flight.

That win against Kortrijk has now moved Gent to the third spot on the log with 17 points, behind Club Brugge on 20 and Standard Liege on 18 after eight games so far this season.
