21-year-old potential Indomitable Lions central defender Harold Moukoudi, thinks he needs more time to get to his best
The teenager has played four games already this season alongside the hugely experienced Loic Perrin, owing to the injury of William Saliba.
In an interview with Le Progres, the highly promising defender made it clear that he is not yet at his best.
“At 100%, I don’t know. But, in every case, I am feeling ok. In a few more weeks, I will be at my best. For now I cannot say that I am a 100% ready,” the former Le Havre defender said.
“With the lack of games, there are certain defensive reflexes and movements that I did not have anymore. This could sound ridiculous, but the aerial duels are very few in training but you have quite a handful of time in the real games.
“These are the little things that you don’t get back overnight. But haven said that, I think I am getting better and better in these aspects.”
The native of Bondy made his professional debut for Le Havre in a 3-1 win over Clermont Foot on 11 October 2016 in the French Ligue 2.
Though, Moukoudi is of Cameroonian descent, he is a French youth international but still eligible to play for Cameroon at senior level.
