Ethiopia comes from two goals down to grab two away goals and force a 2-2 draw as the second round of the African qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup gets underway.
After a goalless first half in the Second Round First leg tie, Hadijah Nandago scored the first goal of the game for Uganda in the 68th minute.
Eight minutes later, Hadijah Nandago doubled the lead for Uganda and thought her two goals would be enough ahead of the return leg.
Ethiopia’s Emush Dandamo pulled a goal back for her side in the 78th minute while Semira Kedir on the dot of 90 minutes equalised to end the game at 2-2.
The qualifiers will continue with games taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
