In form indomitable Lioness Nchout Njoya Ajara has scored her second goal of the season in Monday’s 2 all League draw for Valerenga away to Avaldness.
The 26 year old Cameroon forward crossed carpet from Sandsviken in the close and has quickly settled in at Valerenga where she not just a regular starter now but a very important part of the club’s attacking project.
Ajara broke the deadlock in the 39th minute to give Valerenga a lead that was canceled 2 minutes later Anna Jøsendal in Monday’s Toppserien Women’s league encounter. Avaldness made it a real contest and prevented Valerenga from making it 4 wins in four.
A 71st minute goal from Sofie Christiansen make the contest swing towards Valerenga but Dejana Stefanovic notched in an 83rd minute goal to force the sides share the spoils and extend Avaldness winless streak to 4 games.
The 1 point picked up by Valerenga takes their points tally to 10 points in 4 games and leaves them in the second spot in the league while struggling Avaldsnes with just 3 points this season are just good enough for the 9th spot on the log.
After spending the entire 90 minutes on the pitch just like Rashedaat Ajibade of Nigeria and Avaldness, Nchout and Valerenga be at home to welcome Ngozi Ebere’s Arna-Bjornar on Saturday, while Avaldsnes travel to clash with Ajara’s former club Sandviken on the road.
