After hosting the 2021 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership Super Six, the city of Ijebu Ode, Ogun State is set to host another women’s football showpiece.
This time around, the Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, will host second-tier, NWFL Championship from June 13 to 19, 2022.
In a letter signed by the NWFL Chief Operating Officer (COO), Modupe Shabi dated May 31, 2022, the eleven (11) participating teams are expected to arrive at Ijebu Ode on Sunday, June 12, 2022.

There will be five match days with two rest days in between the Matchdays from June 13 to 19.
Eleven (11) teams expected to compete for promotion slots into the top flight NWFL Premiership have been drawn into two groups.
Group A comprises Honey Badgers, Ibom Angels, Royaltoms Queens, Oasis Ladies FC, and DreamStars FC Ladies.
Group B houses Heartland Queens, Crystals Stars, Kwara Ladies, Moje Queens, Beautiful Tours, and Danaz Ladies FC.
