The two teams who had qualified for the main round of the tournament had to win to determine who tops group G.
Egypt started the game well winning the first half after they had led by five points. Three quick goals were scored before Sweden equalised. But the African side came back to win the other part of the half.
Sweden came back strong in the second half to equal scores and later led the game some minutes to the end of the game. But Egypt were not given up yet as they equalised also.
However, Linus Persson’s eighth goal in the game 90 seconds before the final buzzer proved to be a winner.
Egypt would have gotten something out if the game if Hassa Kaddah shot had not been saved.
