It was a frantic end to an exciting game between 2020 IHF African Championship runner up, Tunisia and Brazil at the Handball World Championship in Egypt.
With 57 seconds to the end of the game, Tunisia scored two quick goals to lead 32-30, but Brazil equalised at the nick of time to get a point from the game.
After a commanding start, the Red Eagles couldn’t hold on as the Brazilians came back in the second half after they Tunisia led by 19-14 points.
Brazil had drawn their first game against European champions Spain got back to the game to equal things.
Tunisia looked good for a first win in theThe hummel Player of the Match, Darmoul, scored nine goals against Brazil, including four of Tunisia’s last six.
However, Right back Gustavo Rodrigues and left wing Guilherme Torriani scored twice within 36 seconds for Brazil to tie the game at 32:32.
Tunisia came close to winning seconds later, but Anouar Ben Abdallah’s throw hit the post to the dismay of the North African country.
Tunisia play Spain in the last group game for a possible qualification to the next round.
