Morocco were defeated yet again by Iceland 31-23 in their last group game of the handball mundial holding in Egypt on Monday.
The African side was yet to record a win after losing to Algeria and Portugal in their first two matches.
The group F tie was taken control by the European side who sought to get their second win to qualify comfortably to the main round.
After a five point advantage in the first half, Iceland were on their way to victory. The half ended 15-10.
Iceland increase the margin to eight in the other half to leave the African side without a win in the preliminary stage of the tournament.
The result means Morocco finishes the group bottom with -22 points and move to the presidential cup.
