Angola on Sunday were defeated by European Championship runners up, Croatia 20-28 in an exciting encounter in Egypt.
The Group C tie was between two sides that were yet to record a win in the tournament. A draw against Japan it was for Croatia in their first game, but Angola fell at the hands of Qatar.
Obviously the underdog of the match, however Angola were not going to be pushovers as they gave the European giants a good fight to end the first phase of the game 11-12.
The Croatians however increased their lead in the second half to end the game at 20-28.
Angola play Japan in their last group stage match game in a couple of days.
