Kelechi Iheanacho missed a penalty for his English Premier League side, Leicester City as they forced Crystal Palace to a 1-1 draw on Monday.
The former Manchester City forward made his first start of the season for Leicester City after top striker, Jamie Vardy was benched ahead of kick-off.
Leicester City had a penalty in the 18th minute. A minute later, Kelechi Iheanacho wasted the huge opportunity to score from the penalty spot. He attempted to slot into the right side of the target, but Crystal Palace goalkeeper, Guaita pulls off a superb save.
Iheanacho saw 72 minutes of action before he was replaced by Demarai Gray
Kelechi had earlier missed a penalty for the Super Eagles of Nigeria during their 1-1 draw with Tunisia in an international friendly.
Winifred Zaha scored the opening goal of the game for the host in the 58th minute. He scored with a brilliant shot into the left side of the goal after being released inside the box by a superb lofted pass from Andros Townsend.
Harvey Barnes equalised for the visitors in the 83rd minute. He weaved his way past opponents and unleashed a magnificent effort from the edge of the box into the bottom right corner.
Leicester City occupied the second position on the English Premier League table with 29 points in 16 games, three points behind Liverpool FC.
