As the 2019 African Cup of Nations which is billed to hold in Egpyt gets closer, Ghana Black Stars Goalkeepers’ Coach, Richard Kingston has suggested the Team must call on famous Nigerian Prophet,TB Joshua if they want to win the African Cup on Nations in Egypt.
The former Ghanaian who was a quarter finalist at the 2010 world cup star and one who manages Emmanuel FC, a club owned by the Synagogue Church, said he has spoken to the man of God about it.
He said if the nation needed help, the man of God will help them just like did to Nigeria six years ago and other countries.
In an interview with Oyerepa 100.7FM FM he said:the nation wants us to seek his help, I am ready to lead us meet him so he prays for us. I am confident he can and will help us win because he has helped others like Nigeria in 2013,”
“Ogenyi Onazi is one of his sons he is a pianist at the synagogue church so consulted him to help them”.
“I have talked to him to help us that was before the qualifiers and so if a delegation from Ghana go to meet him,it will not be out of place because he can help.”
Ghana’s Black Stars are seeking to end the 37 years trophy drought in Egypt as the last time the country won Africa’s prestigious tournament was in 1982 in Libya.
The Black Stars defeated the host country [Libya] on penalties to lift the ultimate.
The technical handlers of the Black Stars have been charged to win the ultimate or will be shown the exit.
The African football powerhouse has come close in winning the trophy in 1992, 2010 and 2015.
The Black Stars of Ghana are in Group F with holders Cameroon, Benin and Guinea-Bissa.
