Super Eagles defender, Brian Oladapo Idowu scored his first goal for Russian side, Khimki in their 2-3 home loss to Victor Moses’s Spartak Moscow on Saturday.
Mirzov scored the first goal of the game for Khimki in the 48th minute at the Arena Khimki
Aleksandr Kokorin equalised for Spartak Moscow in the 58th minute from the penalty spot.
Two more goals from Ezequel Ponce and Jordan Larsson in the 63rd and 77th minutes respectively ensured that Brian Idowu’s 85th minute goal was mere consolation.
Victor Moses played his debut game for Spartak Moscow since his loan move from English Premier League side, Chelsea FC as he was introduced in the 55th minute.
Spartak Moscow occupied the second position on the Russian Premier League table with 24 points in 11 games, same point with Zenit in first position. Khimki on the other hand occupied the 14th position on the 16 team league table with six points in 11 games.
