Nigeria under 19 Cricket team, the Yellow Greens lost their fourth game at the ongoing ICC U19 World Cup in South Africa.

The game which took place at North-West University No2 Ground in Potchefstroom saw Sri Lanka winning the Plate Quarter-Final 1 match by 233 runs.

Sri Lanka were part of group A in the ICC under 19 World Cup 2020 and finished at the third spot after the league stage with one win and two losses from three games. The team had two points and a net run rate of – 0.14.

Nigeria prior to this game finished at the bottom in Group B. Nigeria failed to win any of their matches and in fact suffered huge losses, which is why they ended with the net run rate of -5.074.
