Ibom Angels forward, Blessing Nkor says her Club can pick all three points in their next NWFL Premiership game against Dreamstar FC Ladies at Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium, Lagos.
“My expectations as an attacker, I need to deliver well I need to score more goal. I also need to focus on the field of play. All we need is three points and I know it won’t be easy to win but with determination and teamwork, hopefully, we would come back with
three points.” She told www.kick442.com.
Blessing Nkor opened her goal account for Ibom Angels this season as she scored the winning goal for her club in their 2-1 win against Royal Queens at Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo. Nkor scored the all-important goal in the 78th minute after Chika Idika cancelled Mercy Itimi’s goal.
“I was very happy and so excited, for me scoring my first goal of the season for Ibom Angels.”

The former Invincible Angels player asserted that it will be a thing of joy for Ibom Angels to win the league and participate in the first female continental club competition in Africa (Total CAF Women’s Champions League).
She said: “I want to achieve many things with Ibom Angels this season, like topping the league and getting the opportunity to participate in the first female Continental competition also by the grace of God getting a national call up.”
Ibom Angels gathered four points from their first three games in the 2021 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership season.
A 0-1 home defeat to Osun Babes was followed by an impressive 1-1 draw with Pelican Stars before their first win of the season as they earned a hard-fought 2-1 win over Royal Queens.
The Orange Ladies will travel to Lagos where they will trade tackles with the Galacticas (Dreamstar FC Ladies) on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.
