Former Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Kingson who is known in football circles as ‘Olele’ has disclosed that he may play football again because of his son.
The 42-year-old former Black Stars goalkeeper’s trainer said he wants his son to see him play before he finally retires from the game.
“I have stopped playing but I can come back and play again because I want my son to see me play,” he told Joy FM.
“For the national team, I will say no but even if it is one or two games for the club. [I want him to see me play],” he added.
Richard Kingson who started his professional career with Accra Great Olympics spent most of his active days in Europe with clubs such as Galatasaray, Sakaryaspor, Göztepe, Antalyaspor, Elazığspor, Ankaraspor, Hammarby, Birmingham City, Wigan Athletic, Blackpool, Doxa Katokopias, and Balıkesirspor,
He represented Ghana in the 2006 and 2010 world cup respectively.
