Cameroon midfielder Arnaud Sutchuin Djoum has announced his arrival to Saudi first-tier side, Al Raed and remains grateful to all those who have encouraged him in his journey.

The 6 foot tower of brilliance posted on his official Facebook account: “I am happy to join Al Raed and ready to win games with my new teammates. Thanks for the support and the welcome messages “.

The AFCON 2017 winner made this move after 3 seasons with Scottish side Heart of Midlothian. The deal to Al RAED is the most lucrative in his career and it was done after his previous contract in Scotland ran out in July 2019.

Djoum is at the peak of his career aged 30, but has not hit the level of expectations football fans especially Cameroonians have on him since he began professional football in 2006.

The central midfielder has played for 6 clubs over the years, with Al Raed being his 7th. Al Raed ended top half of the table (8 out of 16 teams), in the Saudi Professional League in the 2018/19 season.
