Former Indomitable Lions of Cameroon trainer Hugo Henry Broos is heavily linked with the vacant coaching job at Morocco Botola Pro outfit Renaissance Sportif Berkane.
The Club is in the market for a replacement of coach Tarek Sektioui following a streak of unsatisfactory results.
Amongst the options on the Moroccan media is Hugo Henry Broos who won the 2017 AFCON tournament in Gabon with Cameroon.
Broos who previously worked in North Africa with JS Kabylie is an experienced trainer with the aptitude to steady the ‘struggling Berkane ship’.
The 68-year told kick442.com in an exclusive interview that he had unfinished business and will be back in Africa for that.
In this case, neither Broos nor the Club has commented on the situation but this portal understands Berkane is close to recruiting a new trainer.
The Club’s management is expected to make a decision as soon as possible as games are lined up in a queue.
Berkane who lost away at Cotonsport on Wednesday must quickly return home and sort their situation on the technical bench soonest.
