Saudi Arabian media is reporting that veteran Algerian forward El Arabi Hilal Soudani is a target for Al Nasr’s Portuguese coach Rui Carlos Pinho da Vitória.
Local media say veteran Nigerian forward Ahmed Musa is on his way out of the club and coach Rui sees experienced ex Nottingham forest winger as a perfect fit for the gap Musa’s possible departure may create.
Hilal has scored seven goals and provided five assists in 21 games in all competitions this season.
The choice of the one-time ASO Chlef winger is understandable giving the duo previously worked together at Portuguese side Vitória Guimarães, where they won the 2013 Taça de Portugal.
The multiple Croatian league winner with Dinamo Zagreb is tied with Olympiakos till the summer of 2021, but Greek side can cash in on the 32-year-old and let him head to the United Arab Emirates.
The forward has featured in two FIFA world cup tournaments and three AFCON tournaments scoring 23 goals 51 games for the Desert Foxes.
Al Nasr currently occupies the 6th spot in the domestic championship certainly with the desire to improve under the Portuguese coach.
