20-year-old potential Cameroon international midfielder Hianga’a Mananga Mbock has extended his contract with French Ligue 1 outfit Brest for an additional four years.
The 1.86m tall midfielder is now tied to Brest till June 2024.
He came through the ranks of the club after joining them in 2012 as a 13-year old. Hianga’a Mbock is the younger brother of 25-year-old French Women’s national team defender Griedge Mbock Bathy.
Hianga’a made his senior debut for Brest in 1–1 draw against Metz on October 30, 2019 in the French League Cup.
Brest made public the news of his contract extension through a communique published on the club’s official website.
In the just terminated season, he featured in two games scoring one goal, but his season was seriously marred by a long-term injury.
Though he was born in France and he can switch his international allegiance to Cameroon, as his parents are from Cameroon.
