The head coach of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon Antonio Conceicao Da Silva Oliviera has opted not to travel with Cotonsport of Garoua center-back, Herve Ngomo.
The 22-year-old sweeper was drafted into Cameroon’s squad for the double AFCON 2021 qualifiers encounters against Mozambique earlier this week after Michael Ngadeu and Fai Collins failed to report to honour their call as they were prevented from traveling due to health reasons.
The arrival of Jerome Onguene on the eve of the match-day three game in Douala-Cameroon has provided the coach with sufficient insurance to take take to Maputo this Saturday.
Herve returns to his parent Club Cotonsport of Garoua to continue preparations for the upcoming season.
