One of Cameroon’s most experienced striker Henriette Michel Akaba Edoa led by example this Saturday evening at the Military Stadium in Yaounde.
Akaba scored one of Cameroon’s two goals as the Indomitable Lionesses narrowly edged the Cameroon’s Women’s military team by two goals to 1.
The 26 year old goal poacher has always been reliable whenever she is called and this Saturday she got another important goal to add the opener scored by Alexandre Takounda.
Speaking post match Akaba confessed they faced difficulties to broke down their opponents and projected on the DR Congo game;
“It was a difficult game, we did our best, we got the results which is good for our confidence, going forward we will continue to prepare.
Fast counter attacking play is something we will looking forward to capitalizing on against Congo”
Akaba and her mates will have a better work and coordination session this week when the abroad based players join the team ahead of Friday’s game against Congo.
