25-year-old Copper Queens of Zambia midfielder, Hellen Mubanga, has become the country’s fourth female footballer to secure a move to Europe, kick442.com can report.
Second tier Spanish outfit Zaragoza CFF confirm her acquisition from Red Arrows Ladies Team with the message, “Welcome Hellen Mubanga” on their Twitter account this Friday, June 26.

The midfielder noted for her trickery on the ball, and her passing ability was unplayable during the 2019 COSAFA tournament.
She fetched the player of the tournament award in that event fueling talks of the need for her to move abroad for a better challenge.
She featured In all, three of Zambia’s games during the 2018 AWCON tournament in Ghana.
Once of Bauleni sports academy enters, she has joined a list with just three Zambian girls to make a move to Europe. Barbra Banda, Rachel Nachula and Rachael Kundananji are the other players who have secured a move to Europe from the Southern African nation.
A Sprinter converted to a footballer, Nachula also excelled at the 2019 COSAFA tournament. Earlier this week, she secured a move to the Zaragoza CFF too.
Kundananji plies her trade in Kazakhstan while Banda is based in China these days.
The Spanish Women’s Championship for the 2019-2020 season ended prematurely.
The Hellen-deal has certainly made the Club get more attention from lovers of the Women’s game in Zambia.
In April this year, Zambia defied bookmakers to book a place in the postponed Tokyo 2020 Olympic games for the first time.
