Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have made a move for Cameroon international striker Pierre Francois Boyomo, as Samuel Boadu looks to find the goals he hopes will fire the Phobians closer to the title race next season.
Boyomo, who plays for Cameroon Elite One newcomers Fauve Azur Elite in the ongoing season is contracted to the center region outfit, but will be a free agent in August.
He is rounding up his season in sparkling form with his club, form which saw him called up by Indomitable Lions head coach Rigobert Song and thrust straight into his World Cup thinking after impressing in his minutes against the senior national selection earlier this month.
The 1m90 striker has scored nine goals in the 17 games of the domestic season, including four assists and ranks among the best scorers in the championship.
According to Njie Enow Ebai Hearts hope they can convince the ex-Panthere striker to make a move to Accra and spearhead a surge towards their 22nd Premier League title.
Earlier in his career, Boyomo played with New Stars between 2016 and 2017 and had an enduring spell in Gabon.
A move to Ghana where compatriots Mbella Etouga and Mfegue Georges excelled this season will certainly increase Hearts’ chances of finishing better than sixth as it was in the just ended season.
