26-year-old Cameroon international goalkeeper Haschou Kerrido has been voted as the best goalkeeper in the just-terminated Guinean top flight season, kick442.com can report.
The former Astres of Douala and Unisport of Bafang goalkeeper made an instant impact with Club Industriel de Kamsar in Guinea.
Though the championship has been terminated as a result on the Coronavirus outbreak, Kerrido helped Club Industriel de Kamsar to a fourth place finish on the log, which will permit them qualify for the preliminaries of next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
This Pan-African Sports News Agency understands Kerrido was in scintillating form for the Guinean club, notably in their last five games, in which he kept five consecutive clean sheets.

He also distinguished himself with five penalty saves across the season, which definitely counted in him winning this individual accolade.
The Cameroon goalkeeper might still be on the fringes of the Indomitable Lions, still lower on the pecking order behind the untouchable Andre Onana and Fabrice Ondoa, but he is now on the wishlists of many clubs in Africa and the old continent.
