Barely seven games into his career at the Riverside, English championship side Middlesbrough have expressed their satisfaction and desire to keep 22-year-old Cameroonian defender Harold Moukoudi beyond his loan period.
The ‘big defender’ joined Jonathan Woodgate’s side in the January transfer window from French league 1 side, AS Saint Etienne.

Moukoudi has played every minute of seven matches since his move from Saint-Etienne went through.
In a recent outing evaluating the player, Woodgate sounded very satisfied.
“We don’t know how things will turn out, but I would love to sign them. I’m a big fan of both,” said Jonathan Woodgate in Yorkshire Post, speaking of Harold Moukoudi and Patrick Roberts. The latter is a midfielder on loan from Manchester City to Boro”: Woodgate stated.
Harold Moukoudi is expected to return to France in June, though there are signs Woodgate want a longer stay with the Cameroon international.
Before switching to England, multiple reports linked the defender to Clubs in the country.
Moukoudi has provided one assist in the games he has been involved in. In all, he has been a good addition. Many pundits believe the defender is made for the English game.
Middlesbrough are just above the drop-zone in a seesaw season, currently suspended because of the health threats of the Coronavirus pandemic.
