Indomitable Lions of Cameroon defender Harold Moukoudi was amongst the goals as his side AS Saint Etienne pulled a 2-2 draw against Nimes in match-day 14 of the French Ligue 1 championship.
The 22-year-old sweeper scored within eight minutes of kick off of the four-goal encounter which was characterized by real drama.
Moukoudi and compatriot Yvan Neyou started the game for AS Saint Etienne. The former scored the game’s opener off an assist from Ryad Boudebouz.
The goal forced Nimes to be more attacking and barely six minutes after conceding, they level scores through Mattéo Ahlinvi.
Both sides settled into the game with some exciting soccer which unfortunately failed to produce a goal before the break.
Nimes returned as the better side and barely 11 minutes into the second half Renaud Ripart converted a spot-kick.
Saint Etienne multiplied effoets to at least level scores and in the 63rd minute, 22-year-old French midfielder
Renaud Ripart scored the second equalizer.
Both sides sides didn’t get another goal till the end of the game
Moukoudi and Neyou played the entire game for Saint Etienne who extend their unbeaten run at home to Nimes to 21 games.
Saint Etienne are currently ranked 14th with 16 points from 14 games this season.
They travel to Monaco on Wednesday in match-day 17 of the championship.
