Cameroon and Saint Etienne center-half Harold Moukoudi currently on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough has impressed his current Club who are keen on acquiring his services permanently.
The 22-year-old full Cameroon international has very involved in his time at the Club. Boro officials are keen on his retention, on a condition.
According to French outlet ‘But’ championship strugglers Middlesbrough, on the 21 spot in the 24 Clubs competition will only retain Moukoudi only if they survive relegation.
The ‘big defender’ joined Jonathan Woodgate’s side in the January transfer window. He has had an impressive debut campaign in England.
He featured every minute of the eight games since he arrived from Saint-Etienne.
Harold Moukoudi was expected to return to France at the end of this June, but there are signs Woodgate is keen on keeping the Cameroon international beyond that time.
Before switching to England, the defender had been linked to different clubs in the country.
He has featured in eight games so far, from which he has delivered an assist.
The Bondy-native has had a good audition so far.
Many pundits have qualified the former Le Havre defender as a good ‘component’ for the English game.
