22-year-old Cameroonian defender Harold Moukoudi is set to end his loan at Middlesbrough and return to France.
The AS Saint Etienne sweeper who left on loan in January has announced his departure from the Championship side.
Moukoudi enjoyed a second half of the brilliant 2019-2020, featuring in 8 games.
Boro officials were keen on his retention, but this weekend, the player took to Instagram to thank the Club and announce his return to France.
The ‘big defender’ joined Jonathan Woodgate’s side in the January transfer window. He has had an impressive stint in England but unfortunately struggled with fitness since the resumption of football.
Harold Moukoudi was expected to return to France at the end of June.
The defender has been linked with a couple of Clubs.
The Bondy-native is on contract at Saint-Etienne till the summer of 2022.
Many pundits have qualified the former Le Havre defender as a good ‘component’ for the English game.
The Cameroon international may just make a temporal return to his parent Club.
