French Ligue 1 side Rennes have expressed the desire to hold on to their highly desired 28-year-old Malian international right-back Hamari Traoré.
The Breton club have opened negotiations for a contract extension for the hugely appreciated player.
His very successful season with Rennes has attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain, Watford, Betis Seville and Valladolid.
His current contract with Rennes expires in June 2021.
The former Reims defender has not been clear over what he wants for the future of his career, he prefers to be philosophical.
“I’ll get what I deserve,” Traoré responded over the numerous interests for his services on France Football.
Rennes are bent on keeping the native of Bamako and they have reopened stalled negotiations with the player for an eventual contract extension.
The former Paris FC and Lierse defender has earned 21 caps for the Eagles of Mali since making his debut in 2015.
