Under-17 Lions of Cameroon center-back Halilou Mouhaman has heaped praises on TAD Sports Academy of Yaoundé for giving them a run for their money in Monday’s three-nil win in a Pre-UNIFFAC 2021 friendly played at the CAF Excellence center in Mbankomo-Cameroon.
The versatile defender who was deployed in the center-back role by coach Foe confessed the Under-17 Lions were made to work though the final score may suggest the game was a one-way traffic m
“I want to say congratulations to my mates and the coaches. It wasn’t easy, the opponents came to show their qualities and to win but we stood tall and explored spaces in behind and we took advantage of that” Zabo told the media after the game.
The defender had a game to remember operating from the center-back role as the captain of the team to great effect stopping all incursions from the TAD frontline and overlapping with every opportunity to put the TAD backline in difficulties with his crosses.
The Brasserie Football Academy defender has been one of the great picks from coach Anicet Mbarga as though in good competition with his defensive colleagues, he has remained a good team player and always gives his all whenever he is called upon to contribute to the success of the team.
