Raissa Tchomte’s 45th minutes goal offered Eding Ladies a narrow 1-0 edge against Caiman Ladies in a delayed day three game of the Guinness Super League fixture that took place on Thursday at the Yaounde Omnisport Annex One Stadium.

Raissa Tchomte opened scores at the 45 minutes following a well executed direct corner kick , that beat Caiman’s keeper Ndeme Diane, so as to give her side a one goal lead few minutes to the end of the first half. The Eding team was reduced to 10, with the award of a red card to Marie Ndzana based on a violent tackle on Endale Emiliene of Caiman.
Eding resume the second half by dominating play at the midfield through the beautiful ball touches from Elong, Mbida and Jacqueline. A play style that pushed Njolle of Caiman and mates to be more faulty in there play style. The fast and nice ball combination between Charlene and Edwige for Caiman’s scoring chance were all squandered at the 57 minutes.
The game’s atmosphere took another dimension with the girls of coach Oudou Kpoumie of Eding, losing control of the encounter both at the midfield and at the upfront with Blanche and Charlene seeing numerous distant shots deviated by the Eding defensive block.
The game ended on a one nil score in favour of Canon, who’s players left the pitch in a jubilant mood. As oppose to the Caiman side in regret, after failing to secure a win in an encounter marked by a litany of goal opportunities on their part. Canon now holds 5 ppoint, meanwhile Caiman remains on 2 points.
