FC Ebolowa has imposed a 2-0 victory against Renaissance Athletique in match day 16th of the Guinness Super League, on July 21 at the Ngoa Ekelle Military Stadium.
Sophie Lemana Fa’a and Bernadette Rayna Meyegue scored each for FC Ebolowa.
FC Ebolowa had an early goal chance opportunity through the brilliance of Samenta Laurita Keyack, in a beautiful free-kick that was deviated by goalkeeper Patience Blessings for a corner kick.
Annie Enganemben,Marie Noel Bidzigo and mates dominated Renaissance at the midfield and created a litany of goal scoring opportunities.
But, Daniel Liyandra Mayanga and Leonie Pulcherie Essaga were bend on stopping the numerous incursions from the FC Ebolowa strikers.
However, Sophie Lemana Fa’a scored FC Ebolowa’s first goal at the 55th minutes, thanks to an assist from Samenta Laurita Keyack.
Renaissance via Sandra Aboh Usoma and Kelly Ndameda in an impeccable one-to-one ball touch, had the opportunity to level scores at the 68th and 70th minutes respectively. But the cute actions was shot-lived, through the nice saves from goalkeeper Paule Charlotte Alang Ayangma.
73 minutes afterwards, came a second goal for Renaissance by Bernadette Rayna Meyegue, via an assist from Marie Noel Bidzigo.
Coach Jean Marc Mbog of Renaissance, with the hope of getting a puller substituted Kelly Ndameda and Yngride Rachime Atangana for Flora Tchouami Sem and Michelle Betiguille Obionda.
All the efforts committed by the substitutes ended in vain, as the encounter ran to an end in favour of FC Ebolowa.
