Eleane Bibout’s 5 and 81 minutes brace helped Eclair Ladies to impose a 6-1 trashing of Vision Sport of Bamenda, in the day one fixtures of the Guinness Women’s Super League on Wednesday at the Omnisport Annex One Stadium. Glory Fule scored for Vision Sport.
More than 500 supporters had shown up to watch the thrilling Guinness Super league fixture pitting Eclair Football Club against Vision Sport of Bamenda that opened with an early goal from Eleane Bibout at the 5 minute of play.
Eclair’s Priso Ndong created more panic in Vision’s camp in a face to face duel with goalkeeper Bokwi, but the ball was played out of the pitch by Vision’s defender Afozo. Vision got awaken from her slumber with a 25 minutes equalizer by Glory Fule . But Marie Ngono in an intelligent play provided an assist for Daha Camilla to double score for Eclair.
Eclair through Ngock, Aboudienglo and Ndong succeeded in taking control of play at the midfield, making things very difficult for the Vision Sport forwards to be in possession of the ball. Bouh Foncha at the 40 minutes failed to beat Eclair’s keeper Biya Cathy for an equalizer few minutes to the end of the first half.
Eclair resume play for the second half with an early missed from Ida Happi but Vision’s defender and captain Casandra Forsuh in a 20 metres shot placed the ball out of the field of play for a corner kick.The girls of coach Francis Koloko of Eclair benefitted from a third goal following a self owned goal from Vision’s Fukuin Odette at the 64 minutes that saw the ball at the back of her team’s net.
Eclair in a two successive goals from Monique Ngock at the 64 minutes and Bibout at the 81 minutes took scores to 5-1. Aboudienglo in a beautiful shot beat coach Festus Kuban’s keeper for a sixth goal at the 83minutes as the game ended on a 6-1 score in favour of Eclair.
