Coach of the Guinean national football team, Mohamed Kanfory Bangoura says his team is not yet perfect after their 3-0 win over Namibia in their Championship of African Nations (CHAN 2020) Group D opening game.
The gaffer opined that it’s important that his side won their first game of the tournament.
“It is important we won the first match as it’s important to win this. There is still much to be done ahead of our next game. Everything is not perfect for us.” Bangoura told pressmen during the post-match press conference on Tuesday.

Bangoura also asserted that the Namibians were not underdogs in the group as his pep talk and team selection did the magic.
He said:
“Every coach must give the right pep talk to players to succeed which I did today resulting in the victory.
“Namibia is not an underdog. The selection put in place ensured the victory. Namibia also put up a good show.”
Guinea will play another tough side in Zambia on Saturday, January 23, 2021, in their second Group D game at Stade Omnisports Limbe, Cameroon by 5:00 pm local time with the winner of the encounter qualifying for the quarter-final.
