The Captain of the Chipolopolo of Zambia Adrian Chama is expected to feature for his side this weekend against Guinea in the ongoing Africa Nations Championship after returning from suspension.
It should be recalled that Adrian Chama did not feature for Zambia during the side’s 2-0 victory against Tanzania. His coming back to the team is certainly going to give an added boost to coach Micho who will take on a Guinea side that is very solid and quick in their attacking line.
In a pre-match press conference ahead of their encounter against Guinea Adrian Chama says the team is ready for this weekend’s encounter.
“As a team, we are ready for Guinea. We know that it won’t be an easy match but we are prepared for the clash,” Captain Adrian Chama said.
“Tomorrow’s game is going to be an entertaining one. For my part and that of Zambia, we are very ready for the encounter. Tomorrow’s game will give a direction of where the group will go as it will be a group decider. We are optimistic that we will win the game and top the group`.”
In the first encounter Collins Sikombe (64mins penalty) and a wonderful goal for Emmanuel Chabula (81mins) were the scorers for the Zambian team. The encounter against Guinea is going to be an exciting one with everything up for grabs.
Zambia is currently second in Group D with 3 points; just a goal difference separates the team and Guinea who are also with 3 points. It should be noted that Zambia’s last group encounter will come up on Wednesday, January 27 at 8 pm local time.
